You'll take the lead on transforming our organization from a data rich one into an information rich one, preparing a wide variety of analyses and models from product line profitability to acquisitions and due diligence. To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have an MBA, solid and broad experience in marketing and/or business planning analysis, and a demonstrated ability to develop sophisticated simulations and models. You'll also need a solid work ethic and a willingness to take a hands-on approach in a lean organization. JM Eagle is relocating its corporate headquarters and infrastructure from Livingston, New Jersey to Los Angeles, California.
While about 60 employees will move with us, we'll hire about 130 new ones here. We'll ask you to spend some time in New Jersey between now and the time the LA office goes online in order to learn about our products, culture, and processes. We are sensitive to your family responsibilities and other obligations, and we'll work with you to create an individual bi-coastal schedule that will suit our objectives as well as yours.

Reporting to our Vice President of Marketing, you'll join a team that also includes a Communications and Training Manager, an Assistant Marketing Manager, and a Marketing and Pricing Analyst. Some of this group will make the move from New Jersey, but most will be new, and we're building a lean, high-powered, focused team.
In a nutshell you'll run analyses, models, and projections to support decision making across a diverse array of areas, including identifying potential opportunities, diversification, segmentation, acquisitions, better understanding the competition, customer-by-customer profitability, new products, new markets, and more.
We have a tremendous amount of data residing in homegrown systems on AS/400 platforms. Your challenge wil be to unlock the power of that data and create actionable recommendations based on the information you can glean from this wealth of data. Our IT staff will help you pull the data; you'll then manipulate using appropriate tools including speadsheet and data base programs and proprietrary tools like Cognos.
While you'll run plenty of high-level analyses, we'll also look to you to remain open to contributing to the day-to-day analytical activities as well.
