Opportunity Snapshot

Drive production efficiencies as you take a hands-on leadership approach to ensuring that production personnel continue to deliver quality work on time at the world's largest manufacturer of plastic pipe.

JM Eagle is poised for even bigger growth with a diverse, recession-resilient product portfolio. JM Eagle was recently formed through the merger of JM Manufacturing and PW Eagle, and this union represents the "best of the best" of two industry leaders and we're uniquely positioned to offer our customers the greatest breadth of product, the broadest geographic reach, the most cost effective production operations, the highest capacity, and the most comprehensive field sales support team in the industry.

As Production Manager, your mission is to take ownership of our day-to-day production function while using Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement principles to ensure production and quality standards are incorporated into project plans, schedules and budgets. You will be positioned as the Director of Operation's right-hand person as you help oversee 22 plants nationwide and introduce your ideas for innovation and improvement into our systems and processes to enhance our performance indicators including conversion cost, output rate, scrap rate, safety, & quality.

To be a good fit for this position, you'll bring a progressive track record of success and galvanize the team to meet or exceed our production targets; far from adopting a heavy-handed approach, you'll showcase the utmost tact and diplomacy in all your interactions and gently guide the team to achieve their own best potential. You will also be comfortable and experienced in working with employees from the floor to the CEO.

We're building 3 new plants and you'll not only help oversee the 5 plants in California but you'll also travel regularly (around 40%) to visit nationwide plants and drive production best practices.
