In this newly created role, you will work to coordinate the online social media presence for a large domestic manufacturer of construction products. Your job will be to communicate messages crafted by the Marketing and Public Relations departments through social media.
· Coordinate social media presence on sites like Facebook, Linkedin, YouTube, Google, Twitter and other relevant Web 2.0 sites· Execute a social media strategy that will help attain company objectives· Establish consistency of message across multiple networks· Prepare weekly reports to update internal staff on usage statistics
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

BA in Communications or Marketing preferred but not required
Computer and Internet savvy. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Social media experience is a required.
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups (employees or customers).
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
