SUMMARY
Provide hands-on PE and PVC plastic pipe extrusion processing and troubleshooting supports to HQ engineering, production department, and plants. Develop and implement action plans to resolve machine and material processing issues and improve overall manufacturing performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support in problem resolution, equipment start up, process optimization, maintenance, and improvement in PE and PVC plastic pipe manufacturing. Optimize resin formulation, manufacturing attributes, and related designs such as pneumatic conveying, screw & barrel design, and plastics compounding. Diagnose the root cause of manufacturing issues related to material processing and conveying. Implement actions and report to management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong plastic processing and trouble shooting skills required. Hands-on manufacturing experience required. Experience in plastic extrusion preferably in PVC and PE. Understand Extrusion equipment, pneumatic conveying system and plastic compounding. Familiar with utility system and equipment (chill water, cooling water and compressed air).
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Plastic Engineering or related field with minimum 5 to 7 years experience.
