The Sales Representative is an entry level Sales position within the Plastpro sales department. This position has been designed to develop Sales Representatives that will be able to become District Sales Managers.
4 positions available with each position covering one area: Seattle, Dallas, Houston, and Eastern Canada.
· Learn the Millwork and Distribution industry from shadowing the Sales Manager
· Interact with customers on follow up issues, order status, bid proposals
· Participate in joint and individual sales calls with sales manager or distributor representatives to grow confidence in product presentation, dealer calls, builder calls, and support the effort to get specifications for Plastpro specific products written
· Scout new distribution opportunities and set up joint calls with Sales Manager
· Support the territory as requested from the Sales Manager
· Gain proficiency at the use of SalesForce for the purpose of managing account information including the initiation of returns and credits.
· Travel as required to customer locations, meetings, and training
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Possess intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Internet/Intranet experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups (employees or customers).
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
