Sales Coordinator (Plastpro)

I.             Position reporting directly to this position: None
 
II.            Position Objective:
Assisting sales with all matters of credits, return processes, customer requests. Work as a liaison between sales and HQ as needed. Handle requests for house accounts. Communicate with the sales team for their nee-ds regarding pricing matters and customer needs. Generate needed reports for the management team as needed.
 
III.          Qualifications:
College degree or equivalent experience in sales support, customer service and communication is required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, must have the initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision. Must have great computer skills and knowledge of CRM.
 
IV.          Training:
Three (3) months on-the-job training with Sales Director and various departments: To learn and understand our products, specifications, pricing, marketing and Company procedures and policies.
 
V.            Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  1. Tasks and Duties
    1. Communicate effectively with the sales team.
    2. Process all requests in a timely manner and follow up with answers.
    3. Ability to process credits and returns using CRM.
    4. Manage and keep a clean record of all customers pricing, specs, etc.
    5. Assist sales with all their sample requests, brochures, etc.
    6. Work closely with Customers Service and accounting on matters related to their department.
    7. Handle all requests from customers who are house accounts.
    8. Communicate to sales all requests received from their customers.
    9. Develop and maintain knowledge of all Plastpro products by attending regular sales training seminars and self-study.
    10. Devote the entire productive time, ability and attention to the business of the Company, and shall perform all duties in a professional, ethical and businesslike manner.
    11. The Sales Coordinator shall not disclose to anyone – inside or outside of the Company – any Confidential Information. “Confidential Information” shall include any of the Company proprietary or trade secret information that is disclosed to the Sales Coordinator otherwise learns of in the course of employment, such as, but not limited to, business plans, customer lists, customer information,  internal pricing information, financial statements, software diagrams or documentation, flow charts or other product plans.
    12. Other duties as assigned.
 
  1. Machinery and Electrical Devices Used
Keyboard mainframe and PC computer terminal, 10-key calculator, fax machine, copier, and telephone.
 
  1. Physical and Visual Activity Required
Extensive talking and listening from constant phone usage, writing, filing, and typing.  Walking to other departments and file locations.  Pushing and pulling of file drawers.  Packaging samples, customer binders, and brochures in carton boxes.  Ability to read faxes, computer print outs, order acknowledgements, and invoices. 
 
  1. Work Environment Conditions
Duties will be confined within the office building – enclosed areas with controlled temperatures and protected from weather conditions.
 
VI.          Authority / Decision Making
Work under Plastpro policies and procedures on a daily basis.  Makes decisions on job-related matters under close supervision of the Director of Sales and within the authority established by the President’s Office.
