SUMMARY
 
The Marketing Communications Manager will lead a wide variety of activities, including external and internal corporate communications, advertising, trade shows and employee newsletters.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
 
Overall
 
Responsible for developing overall consistent communication platform over all media that focuses on JM Eagle's
core messages, including recommitment to customer service, the superiority and variety of JM Eagle's products, and the company and its owner's commitment to philanthropic efforts.
 
This will be achieved through the following segments.
 
Corporate  Communications
 
Ensure that corporate communications and appropriate messages are reaching all relevant audiences. This will include:
   
Web Site/Social Media
   
Internal Newsletter
   
Public Relations
 
Develop PR campaigns in support of JM Eagle's corporate messages, including its recommitment to customer service, the superiority of JM Eagle products and the company's philanthropic efforts around the world.
 
Trade Shows
 
Oversee JM Eagle's participation in industry trade shows and events, as well as associated communications and promotions, in support of the message of the company's product-superiority and customer-service messages.
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
 
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree such as an MBA is preferred.  Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
 
COMPUTER SKILLS
Possess intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Internet/Intranet experience required, including experience with managing social media content.
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups (employees or customers).
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
 
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
